“Concrete Finance” is a joint venture between two complementary partners:

Gruppo CMC di Ravenna (55%) is a leading global construction company, founded in 1901 in Italy with the legal status of a cooperative. Thanks to technical and management ability, economic and financial stability as well as to the extensive experience acquired all over the world in great infrastructure works, CMC is qualified to execute the highest class of large construction projects, public works (infrastructures, social and health facilities, water and sanitation), logistic projects (railways, ports, roads) and private projects (commercial and residential buildings, hospitality). CMC has been active in developing and emerging markets since 1975, establishing long-term relationships in the countries of operations. CMC is presently working in South Africa, Mozambique, Lesotho, Kenya, Angola, Malawi, Botswana, Algeria, Laos, P.R. of China and Bulgaria. CMC is also expanding its presence in some of the most sophisticated economies such as Italy, the United Kingdom, Singapore and United States of America. In 2017 CMC had a consolidated annual turnover of over €1.1 million. The permanent staff of CMC amounts to 461 people, 401 of which are also members of the cooperative, and currently employs over 9,000 people worldwide.

ITARE (45%) is a financial advisory firm, established in 2017 by the management team. Its key personnel has long experience of financing and insuring major projects in developing and emerging markets, and profound knowledge of Sub-Saharan African countries. While Concrete Finance focuses on major infrastructure projects, ITARE covers other key sectors with a view of supporting Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs, foreign and local) in developing and emerging markets. Its key lines of business are: i) “Concrete Solutions”, a supply chain of firms active in construction materials and technologies; ii) “Smart Energy Solutions”, a group of companies offering advanced and integrated renewable energy solutions through Private-Public-Partnerships with local governments; iii) “Agri-business and Model Farming”, a value chain of companies under the leadership of the company Rota Guido, that offer integrated solutions to the development of the livestock and agricultural sector; iv) Financial Institutions, where ITARE offers technical assistance and advisory services to banks and insurers developing new products and services for SMEs in both advanced, developing and emerging countries. ITARE is present with its own offices in several African countries and can leverage a vast network of partners and representatives in the countries of operations.
